“Join the Team, Leave the Home” is a still-in-progress game project based on my grandparent’s life experiences in Xinjiang. Now the demo video for the introduction is released.

In the game, players will control the character “Jiancun Jin” (known as Jin), who is a 17 year’s old teenage boy from Shanghai, China. The story began in 1966, summer when Jin is about to go to Xinjiang as a sent-down youth during the “Going to the countryside” movement. The players will be able to experience life in Xinjiang and know the history from my grandparent’s perspectives.
